Currently residing in Los Angeles, California, Aaron Saffa has worked in marketing, sales, and film for the last 15 years. Currently, he serves as an Account Manager for Eastman Kodak Company, where he works with television commercial producers and filmmakers to discuss their use of traditional motion picture film in their work. Within one year of taking his current position, Saffa increased sales in his department by about 20 percent and acquired a number of new customers for the company. Aaron Saffa studied sociology as an undergraduate at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he completed his Bachelor of Arts in 1996. During his time at UCLA, he contributed to the Daily Bruin newspaper, and trained in radio promotions and production at KLA Radio. Since graduation, he has completed cinematography and record production workshops with the University. In his spare time, Aaron Saffa has a passion for music. He has played in a number of bands throughout the years, and took two years between April 2004 and January 2006 to serve as a Performer, Manager, and Promoter for the band Fractious. In addition to writing the majority of the band’s songs, Saffa arranged and promoted national tours, radio appearances, television appearances, and several record releases. He currently plays in a Pearl Jam tribute band entitled Vitalogy. This group recreates the sound and experience of the critical “grunge” period of music in the 90s. The band regularly gives shows around the Los Angeles area. He also played in a band in Los Angeles called Ultrabend. Aaron Saffa sings and plays the guitar and piano. He also enjoys cooking, travel, fitness, and politics. In addition to being active on a number of ultimate frisbee teams around Los Angeles, Aaron Saffa has climbed several major mountain peaks, including Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Whitney. He supports a number of charitable organizations, including My Friend’s Place, the Sierra Club, the ACLU, Doctors Without Borders, and The American National Red Cross.
