Adam Block - Owner & Operator @ Print Restaurant & the Press LoungeNew York, New YorkA graduate of the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, Adam Block earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Putting his degree to use, Adam Block gained experience in various business pursuits before founding Block & Associates (B&A), a restaurant consultation business in 1987. As B&A’s founding principal, Adam Block stays heavily involved in his company’s efforts. Embarking on worldwide business pursuits, Adam Block has offered consulting services to more than 1,200 food and restaurant related projects. Adam Block offers B&A clients services such as strategic planning, management consulting, feasibility and market analysis, and lease negotiations, among others. In addition to restaurants, Adam Block and B&A work with other businesses such as hoteliers, stadiums, recreation concessionaires, and more. In addition to consulting through B&A, Adam Block owns and operates Print Restaurant and the Press Lounge, both of which can be found in Manhattan’s Ink48 hotel. On the 16th floor rooftop, guests of the Press Lounge partake in popular cocktails and enjoy the view of Manhattan every day of the week. ABCNews.com named the Press Lounge as one of its top 22 rooftop bars in the world. Adam Block also encourages Ink48 guests to sample one of Print Restaurant’s many meals, all of which change with the seasons. Adam Block hires a professional forager to meet and interact with local and regional vendors, acquiring fresh, local ingredients that give Print Restaurant’s dishes their renowned flavors. Adam Block and Print Restaurant were honored by Zagat, who awarded the dining facility a 25 rating for food and decor. Print Restaurant was listed in the 2010 Michelin Guide.
