Adelphia Restaurant is the flagship business of the Balis restaurateur family. Located in Deptford, New Jersey across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, Adelphia Restaurant provides a full complement of dining, event, and entertainment services.

Adelphia Restaurant features several menus, focusing on American cuisine and Mediterranean fusion. In addition to full dinner and lunch menus, Adelphia Restaurant offers an early bird menu, Sunday brunch, a bar menu, catering, and customized wedding banquets. Adelphia Restaurant’s menus have received numerous “Best Of” awards, and the dining area features carving stations and woodstone ovens so that diners can watch their food being prepared.

The bar and nightclub at Adelphia Restaurant features nightly events that include trivia, line dancing lessons, ladies’ night dance parties, and live radio broadcasts on Saturday nights hosted by Bob Pantano of 98.1 WOGL. Adelphia Restaurant also regularly schedules celebrity appearances, including Snooki from MTV’s Jersey Shore and Kevin Federline. Adelphia Restaurant also offers happy hour Monday through Friday and provides 24 high-definition plasma televisions on which it broadcasts sporting events, such as NFL games and Pay-Per-View Boxing.

Additionally, Adelphia Restaurant manages the Adelphia Pan Athenian Grand Ballroom and Conference Center, a multi-purpose event facility for groups ranging from 20 to 500 people. Seminars, bridal showers, bar and bat mitzvahs, and office parties are commonly held at Adelphia Restaurant, which offers full catering, a dance floor, audio-visual equipment, and music.

Adelphia Restaurant also creates customized wedding packages and can provide decorations, various cake styles, floral centerpieces, and a wide range of dining options. Adelphia Restaurant’s wedding center provides many fine touches not found elsewhere, including a separate cocktail room and an extended 5 ½ hour reception.

The Balis family manages two other successful southern New Jersey restaurants, Kaminski’s Bar & Grill in Cherry Hill and the Phily Diner in Runnemede. Adelphia Restaurant maintains a preferred customer program that provides coupons and discounts to participating patrons. Adelphia Restaurant also sells gift certificates and merchandise.
