Alan Beaven was born an raised in Georgetown, KY. In ‘98 he headed west to Colorado for college at a place known to its denizens as camp USAFA. After graduation, he was shipped out to sunny central Georgia to work as a structural engineer on fighter aircraft (F-15s). After a short stint in Florida, developing experimental weapon systems, Alan’s initial military service commitment was fulfilled. He moved back to Kentucky. He plans to be here for at least a few years; maybe for good. . . He finished 8 years in the Air Force and just moved back to Lexington. Will start work as a mechanical engineer in Lexington in early ‘07.
