Alejandra obtanied a PhD in Physics in 2004 at the National University of Mexico, where she worked with Marcos Mazari and Jorge Rickard, pioneers of accelerator physics in Mexico. Alejandra works in nanoscience materials, developing new materials and changing their optical properties by using heavy ions.
