Alex Calic is currently the Vice President of Finance & Strategy at Clearspring Technologies. Clearspring operates a website where users can create, share, and track their “widgets,” or Flash-based web content. Alex has been working with Clearspring since 2006 in their McLean, Virginia, office. Prior to that, he worked for Inphonic, Inc. from 2001-2006, where he managed company acquisitions, fundraising, and marketing partnerships with other companies. Alex graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA in 2001. He attended Pepperdine University for his undergraduate degree, where he studied Business Administration and graduated in 1994.
