After graduating from Washington & Lee University in 2001, Alexis Yee-Garcia worked to promote civic engagement among college students with the Office of Active Citizenship and Service at Vanderbilt University. Alexis encouraged education and activism through programs like Alternative Spring Break, the Freedom Rides, and campus community service days. Outside of her 9-5, Alexis is an avid wine buff, having completed the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Advanced Certificate with Distinction, and worked part time at Grand Cru in Nashville.

In January 2012, Alexis will join Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe as a first year associate in their San Francisco office.
