An author and publisher, Alivia is a 1999 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University (BA, History) and founder of Ironcutter Media, LLC.

Blending socially-conscious themes with traditional and new media technologies to create ‘media that matters,’ Ironcutter Media specializes in publishing and producing historical fiction, children’s book and reference genres, including ‘Still the Monkey, What Happens to Warriors after War,’ the Mrs. Pea Children’s Book Series, and The 10K Campaign (a blogella).

Tagliaferri is the author of ‘Still the Monkey, What Happens to Warriors after War,’ (March 2007) a work of historical fiction portraying the mentor relationship of a warrior of old and warrior of today dealing with life after combat and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

In addition to her creative managerial duties with Ironcutter Media, she presents literary discussions on PTSD, has appeared as a guest on several radio shows, wrote an article featured in ‘The Veterans Voice’ (July, 2007), and developed a workshop for high school students, ‘How to Market Ideas and Creativity,

She enjoys composing music, travelling, meeting new people and being creative.
