Doctor of Dermatology at the Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics

Dallas area Dermatologist Dr. Allison Singer takes pride in being able to help her patients with their skin care needs, and works diligently to maintain a professional yet welcoming atmosphere. She feels her proudest accomplishment is her ability to treat all kinds of disorders, including those having to do with hair, nails, and skin as well as the treatment and prevention of skin cancer. Dr. Singer is dedicated to building professional, caring, and trustworthy relationships with all of her patients and this is apparent in her manner of work.

Dr. Allison F. Singer began her career at Tulane University in New Orleans. While attending Tulane, Dr. Singer studied biology and graduated cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in 1991. Following Tulane, Dr. Singer went on to attend the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. In 1995, Singer obtained her Doctor of Medicine, with honors, from the University of Texas. Singer continued her education in Internal Medicine at the same institution. After finishing her internship, she went on to complete her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. At the University of Texas, she worked in the department of dermatology and completed her residency in three years. She has been in practice in Dallas for 12 years and is now excited to be joining North Texas Dermatology in Richardson, Texas in July 2011. Please visit us at www.northtexasderm.com

Dr. Singer has received several awards and honors, including the Janice M. Glasgow Award, which honors women in medicine. She has also been featured in D Magazine as a prominent doctor on numerous occasions. She is a member of the Dermatology Foundation, The Leader’s Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Dallas Dermatologic Society, the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
