Ilford, United KingdomAs the General Overseer of the New Bethel Christian Centre (NBCC) in Ilford, Great Britain, Ameachi Dubem Okwuosa works with other dedicated staff for the daily operations and serves as the spiritual head of the charitable organization. He operates NBCC as an interdenominational group that extends support to less privileged members of society. Through his charitable foundation, Amaechi Dubem Okwuosa has assisted dozens of students in completing their primary, secondary, and postsecondary studies, including postgraduate legal, medical, and engineering training. For his commitment to advancing religious and social dialogues, the International Fellowship of Reconciliation awarded him its Grand Order of Peace Pursuit. In addition to his charitable work, Amaechi Dubem Okwuosa acted as a Partner with Ofianyi Chambers, a Nigerian law firm, where he maintains responsibility for several aspects of the corporate practice, including acting as a notary public and commissioner for oaths. Before joining Ofianyi Chambers, he functioned as a Senior Legal Officer with the Nigerian Shippers’ Council and a Principal with Dubem Okwuosa & Co. Legal Practitioners. Okwuosa holds Bachelor’s degrees in Law from the Nigerian Law School and Anambra State University of Technology (now Nnamdi Azikiwe University). While enrolled at these institutions, he became intimately involved with several underprivileged classmates, offering financial assistance for food and tuition. Before embarking on his professional career, he gleaned valuable experience as a Legal Advisor to Emzuky Communications Ltd., where he did his National Youth Service Corps. In the early phase of his education, he participated in several extracurricular activities, including the Nigerian Red Cross Society and Boy Scouts of Nigeria, and received recognition as the neatest student in his final year of secondary school.
