Amar Bheenick read law in the United Kingdom graduating with an LL.B (Honours) and an LL.M in International & Commercial Law. He has been involved in the international financial services sector since 2001 specializing in the structuring, formation and administration of offshore companies, foundations, funds, partnerships and trusts.

Amar is a Director of OCRA (Mauritius) Limited and OCRA Trustees (Seychelles) Limited. He serves on the boards of directors for offshore companies and collective investment schemes (including hedge funds).

Amar is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and was formerly a Director and Student Liaison Officer of STEP Mauritius.

Amar is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA), the Foundation Society and the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD)
