Dr. Amiya Prasad holds a Doctor of Medicine from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University. Performing two residencies, Dr. Amiya Prasad concentrated on internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center and reconstructive surgery at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. In 1993, Dr. Amiya Prasad completed a fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Before beginning his professional practice in 1995, Dr. Amiya Prasad also completed a preceptorship in ear, nose, and throat/facial plastic surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine.
