Dr. Anandhi Narasimhan has proven herself a trusted child and adult psychiatrist. Her prestigious private practice has consistently provided care to the Westwood community and the greater Los Angeles area. Originally obtaining her M.D. from Ramachandra Medical College in India, Narasimhan then went on to complete her residency in adult psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Soon after finishing her residency training, Dr. Narasimhan decided to pursue fellowship training in child and adult psychiatry at the University of California at Los Angeles, where she currently resides.

Dr. Anandhi Narasimhan’s experiences helped parlay her career into numerous successful ventures. While directing her own private practice, Dr. Narasimhan also serves as a clinical instructor at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, as well as a child and adolescent psychiatrist for Aviva Family and Children’s Services, a contract agency with the Department of Mental Health that provides care and treatment to abandoned, neglected, abused and at-risk youth and their families. Dr. Anandhi Narasimhan has distinguished herself in the child trauma and neuroimaging research field and is a published author, recently co-authoring a book chapter by the name of “Child and Adolescent Responses to Trauma.” Her success in the publishing world has led to numerous invitations to news programs as an expert discussant on her field of study.

Dr. Anandhi Narasimhan is currently very involved in her role as the community service director for the Indian Professionals Group, and is also a member of the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Narasimhan is actively involved in the American Stroke Association, March of Dimes, Women for Women, and International CARE.
