Following in his father’s footsteps, board-certified otolaryngologist Dr. Andrew Florea practices medicine in San Bernardino County, California. Dr. Andrew Florea studied at the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biology. Moving on to medical school, Dr. Andrew Florea enrolled at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and attained his Doctor of Medicine in 2001.

Dr. Andrew Florea received clinical training during his internship with Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC), followed by his four-year residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery in the same location. Dr. Andrew Florea then completed a laryngology fellowship at UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center), learning more about the diagnosis and treatment of voice and swallowing disorders. After completing the fellowship, Dr. Andrew Florea served as an Assistant Professor at LLUMC, teaching medical students and surgical residents about otolaryngology.

Dr. Andrew Florea continues to share his knowledge with the medical community in other ways. Contributing to medical journals and other publications, Dr. Andrew Florea wrote articles and chapters covering numerous otolaryngology-related subjects. Dr. Andrew Florea has given poster presentations at meetings of professional organizations such as the American Laryngological Association and the Association for Research in Otolaryngology. On several occasions over the course of his career, Dr. Andrew Florea and his wife, a nurse practitioner, traveled to Romania on medical mission trips, helping those in need.

Currently, Dr. Andrew Florea focuses on treating patients with ear, nose, and throat issues. Dr. Andrew Florea also possesses experience in facial plastic surgery, having completed a fellowship in the specialty and performing thousands of procedures since. He has treated patients with severe facial trauma and particularly finds satisfaction in helping them regain their confidence through cosmetic surgery. Dr. Andrew Florea also offers patients rejuvenating cosmetic procedures such as Botox cosmetic injections, chemical peels, eyelifts, browlifts, and facelifts.
