Freedom Financial Network has garnered a variety of awards since it was founded by Housser in 2002, earning recognition on Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Hot 100 Fastest Growing Businesses in America” in 2008, where it ranked among the top three fastest growing businesses in the country. Andrew Housser expanded Freedom Financial Network’s product line to include not only its original debt resolution services, but also tax resolution, mortgage assistance, comparison shopping, and financial education. Housser’s dynamic product strategy helped diversify Freedom Financial Network’s operational scope and strengthened the company’s core business model. His dedication to a variety of different services has helped Freedom Financial Network become a powerful player in the consumer finance industry. Before starting Freedom Financial Network and its sister company Bills.com, Andrew Housser earned his MBA at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, graduating in the top 10% of his class. Housser’s professional career before 2000 consisted mainly of roles in the investment and financial industry. From 1997 to 2000, Andrew Housser served with Littlejohn & Co., LLC, a private equity firm that focuses on controlling investments in mid-sized businesses that require operational restructuring. Andrew Housser worked on several acquisitions during his tenure and spent a significant amount of time on operational and strategic improvement for companies in the Littlejohn portfolio, working closely with the CEOs and CFOs of these companies. Littlejohn gave Andrew Housser a wide range of experiences, from acquisition analysis, dealmaking, negotiation, financing, operational restructuring and strategic analysis that would prove valuable in his career as an entrepreneur. Under the leadership of Andrew Housser and Bradford Stroh, Freedom Financial Network has settled more than $700 million since its founding for over 80,000 clients. It currently maintains an active client list of over 40,000 with more than $1.5 billion in debt currently under management, settling more than $40 million per month. In 2009, Freedom Financial Network enjoyed over $100 million in revenues. It was also named to Inc. 500 in 2008 and 2009 while concurrently being awarded one of the Best Places to work in Phoenix and the Bay Area those same years. Andrew Housser is currently married and the father of 3 children. |
