A successful global business executive, Andrew Lazenby has lived in Great Britain, South Africa, Oman, and the Netherlands and traveled to more than a dozen other countries for business and pleasure. Andrew Lazenby has cornered European, Middle Eastern, and African markets for Dell Inc., Affinion International Ltd., and Shell, and climbed a number of mountains along the way, both figuratively and literally. Andrew Lazenby worked for Barclays National Bank Ltd. in Johannesburg, South Africa, before enrolling at Jesus College, University of Oxford. Upon completing his education, he accepted a position at Shell U.K. Limited, where he remained for nearly a dozen years. At Shell U.K. Limited and Shell Global, Andrew Lazenby worked in a variety of roles, including Retail Sales Representative, Diesel Product Manager, Business Analyst, and Business Development Manager. As Retail Manager of Shell Oman, Andrew Lazenby built three pilot convenience stores from concept to completion, which led to 40 more locations, and launched the Middle East’s first payment card for fuel. At Shell Gas Direct in London, where he served as Business Development Manager, Andrew Lazenby introduced new products, acquired customer bases from competitors, and handled business development. In business management and marketing positions at Capital One (Europe) plc, AOL (UK) Limited, Dell, Inc., and Affinion International Ltd., Andrew Lazenby minimized customer attrition, restructured marketing campaigns, supported brand development, reversed declines, and negotiated and executed major initiatives. Throughout his management career, Andrew Lazenby developed expertise in a number of areas, including customer relationship management and retention, direct marketing, and telesales. Andrew Lazenby also accumulated a solid track record of building brands in multiple markets, delivering scale acquisitions, and creating fruitful propositions. Andrew Lazenby has climbed a number of real mountains as well, reaching summits in Scotland, Oman, South Africa, Bavaria, Norway, and Tibet.
