Veteran United States Army Ranger Andrew Levene enlisted in 1992 when he was 21 years old. After joining the U.S. Army, the first stop for Andrew Levene was Fort Benning, Georgia, where he completed his basic training. The principal training facility for all U.S. Army infantry enlistees, Fort Benning is also the headquarters of the United States Army Airborne School, also known as Jump School, where Andrew Levene received his parachute training. At Fort Benning, Andrew Levene rose to the rank of Specialist.

The next stop for Andrew Levene was Fort Bragg, home to the 82nd Airborne Division and Army Special Operations. Located in North Carolina, Fort Bragg possesses some of the most highly trained and skilled units in the U.S. Armed Forces. At this historic base, Andrew Levene was promoted to Sergeant and leader of a reconnaissance team.

Andrew Levene’s excellent skill set and leadership qualities took him overseas as a reconnaissance expert in a light infantry division. One of the career highlights Andrew Levene experienced was serving under General Wayne A. Downing, whose outstanding military service was distinguished by his command of American Special Operations forces, and for his tours of duty in Vietnam, Panama, and Iraq. After September 11, General Wayne Downing assumed the role of National Director and Deputy National Security Advisor for Combating Terrorism.

Andrew Levene was adept at community development and performed well in a non-governmental organization (NGO). While stationed in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the former Soviet Union, and Turkey, Andrew Levene became a liaison to local authorities and provided aid to local citizens.

A resident of Wilmington, Delaware, Andrew Levene enjoys off-trail skiing and taking long hikes. He counts hockey as his favorite sport.
