Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, entrepreneur and business owner Andrew Silverston commands a long and prolific history in several diverse industries. After high school, Andrew Silverston enrolled at Northeastern University in Boston, where he studied business administration and finance. From 1976 to 1981, Andrew Silverston maintained an excellent academic record at Northeastern University, appearing on the Dean’s List and earning a cooperative student award. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1981, Andrew Silverston joined the fast-paced, competitive world of financial consulting.

Andrew Silverston quickly landed an entry-level position with Boston-based Wheeler Associates. Thriving in his role as Financial Consultant, Andrew Silverston made a strong impact upon Wheeler Associates and stayed with the company through its change of ownership. Under the company’s new name, Boston Financial Consulting Group, Andrew Silverston received a promotion to General Partner and was granted charge of the Boston Financial Consulting Group division. With a focus on real estate, portfolio management, and personal and corporate finance, Andrew Silverston led the Boston Financial Consulting Group to unprecedented heights of financial success.

Seeking to branch out and form his own company, Andrew Silverston left Boston Financial Consulting Group and founded A. H. Silverston and Associates in 1987. In his new role as Owner and President, Andrew Silverston imbued A. H. Silverston and Associates with his vast experience navigating the complex world of real estate and business acquisitions. Andrew Silverston and A. H. Silverston and Associates maintained an active presence in the local real estate market until the company’s dissolution in 1993.

After his time with A. H. Silverston and Associates, Andrew Silverston and his wife, Jacqueline Silverston, undertook a substantial project to renovate and re-purpose historical sites in Thompson, Connecticut. As CEO of Lord Thompson Manor and Owner of its sister property, the Cottage House Inn, Andrew Silverston offers a unique experience to travelers looking for an authentic New England inn. Since 1993, numerous couples have chosen Lord Thompson Manor to host their wedding ceremonies and receptions and have enjoyed the comfort, service, and hospitality provided by Andrew Silverston. Andrew Silverston lives and works in Thompson, Connecticut.
