Entrepreneur Andy Kurtzig founded his latest business venture, JustAnswer.com, in 2003. Possessing keen business savvy and an entrepreneurial spirit, Andy Kurtzig led JustAnswer.com to become one of Quantcast’s Top 300 Websites. Inspired by the bevy of questions he and his wife had when they were expecting their first baby, Andy Kurtzig founded the site with the intention of providing high-quality solutions to a wide variety of questions. Now catering to millions of answer-seekers, JustAnswer.com hosts an online venue where thousands of Experts answer serious questions at a price the answer-seeker is willing to pay. With JustAnswer.com, Andy Kurtzig created a business venue that is beneficial to both the users and the Expert. Prior to founding JustAnswer.com, Andy Kurtzig served as the CEO of eBenefits, an online human resource management service he founded in 1996. While managing eBenefits, Andy Kurtzig developed and maintained relationships with numerous Fortune 500 companies, signing exclusive partnership agreements with Automatic Data Processing and Marsh & McLennan. Additionally, Andy Kurtzig raised $8 million of venture capital financing. In October 2003, Andy Kurtzig sold eBenefits to an Inc. 500 Company. In 1994, Andy Kurtzig graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. While still a student, Andy Kurtzig conceptualized and launched his first successful business endeavor, ANSER Corp., which provided a calendar automation service to clients, such as the San Francisco Bay Guardian and The Post Newspaper Group. After a successful two-year run as CEO, Andy Kurtzig sold ANSER to the San Francisco Bay Guardian. A generous man who is committed to helping others, Andy Kurtzig is highly involved in the search for a diabetes cure. Active in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Andy Kurtzig and his wife, Sara, were instrumental in founding The Royal Ball, an annual fundraiser designed to raise money to find a cure for type 1 diabetes. Mr. Andy Kurtzig currently makes his home in California’s Bay Area.
