The bearer of a Doctorate in Mineralogy from the Technical University of Petrosani, Angela Craciun has made unparalleled contributions to her discipline through the World Mineralogy Organization. In recent years, Angela Craciun has promoted the World Mineralogy Organization and its aims through prestigious events like The Treasure of the Stone Belt, an exhibition at the Museum of Oceanography in Monaco led by famed professor Jean Jaubert. Angela Craciun is also responsible for the Diamonds Ball hosted by the World Mineralogy Association and the awarding of the Medals of Scientific Excellence under the high patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Rainier III of Monaco.
