Ms. Anja Christie-Johnson works as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) Intern, currently serving with Larry Campbell at a private practice in San Luis Obispo, California. As an MFT Intern, Anja Christie-Johnson has amassed 3,000 hours of clinical experience and is now in the process of taking two exams for licensure. The first exam Anja Christie-Johnson must pass covers law, ethics, theory, crisis intervention, and treatment, while the second is a Vignette Clinical exam. During her work with Campbell, Anja Christie-Johnson specialized in the treatment of grief and loss and the adolescent population. When she is not at Campbell’s private practice, Anja Christie-Johnson assists individuals as a member of a crisis management team.

Anja Christie-Johnson received her Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies from the University College of Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, earning a place on the Dean’s List. In 2004, Anja Christie-Johnson enrolled at Antioch University Santa Barbara, where she completed the requirements for a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. Active in her local community, Anja Christie-Johnson performed volunteer work at the Hospice of San Luis Obispo County before becoming a Hospice Staff Counselor.

Anja Christie-Johnson is active in animal protection organizations and also supports a Rwandan child through Compassion International. In her limited spare time, Anja Christie-Johnson enjoys staying active through water-related sports and has worked in the movie industry. Each year, Anja Christie-Johnson travels back to her hometown in Nova Scotia, Canada.
