It’s been said that Anthony D. Altavilla works to leave each community a little better than it was when he found it. One thing’s for sure: He certainly does try to make a difference. When Anthony D. Altavilla was in high school in New Jersey, he mentored underprivileged children through the Mentor Club. When he was in college at Wabash College, he volunteered with the Sphinx Club, trying to promote diversity and harmony. As a resident of Carmel, Indiana, Anthony Altavilla sits on the boards of The Wellness Community and The Burn Foundation, trying to help medically fragile people. He coaches youth football. He participates in programs hosted by his church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. He is an active and welcome member of the community, and people of Carmel, Indiana are lucky to have Anthony D. Altavilla as a resident.
