A financial executive and mergers and acquisitions specialist with nearly three decades of experience in his field, Arnold McClellan most recently served as Regional Managing Partner of M&A Transaction Services (MATS) at Deloitte in San Francisco, California. Commanding an impressive professional background, Arnold McClellan began to lay the academic foundations for his career while an undergraduate at Georgia State University in Atlanta. From 1979 through 1983, Arnold McClellan pursued studies in a wide range of topics related to business management and accounting at Georgia State, setting the stage for his professional path.

Following receipt of his Bachelor of Business Administration, Arnold McClellan earned designation as a Certified Public Accountant and secured a position with Arthur Andersen in Atlanta, where he operated as a Tax Consultant. Promoted to Senior Tax Consultant at Arthur Andersen two years later, Arnold McClellan eventually left the firm in 1987 to accept a role with Deloitte. Based in Deloitte’s Atlanta office from 1987 through 1989, Arnold McClellan subsequently won promotion to MATS Senior Tax Manager, during which time he lived and worked in New York City. Four years later, he relocated to London and gained promotion to Partner, serving in Deloitte’s United States Corporate Tax Services division.

Returning to the United States in 1996, he and his family settled in San Francisco, where he commenced his lengthy tenure as a MATS Tax Partner. Over the next 14 years, Arnold McClellan advanced through the ranks at Deloitte San Francisco, running the Northern California MATS division, playing a key role on the Northern California and National MATS Leadership Committees, and earning other key appointments in the Firm. As Regional Managing Partner of MATS for six years, he increased divisional revenues significantly, markedly increased the number of highly skilled professionals, and helped his practice remain viable in the midst of a severe economic downturn. At present, Arnold McClellan lives and works in San Francisco.
