Ashley Pitts began her career as an IT field technician at the tender age of 8 years. Between getting her highschool education and working for her father, she gladly helped her friends and neighbors with their computer needs and problems and knew that she’d always be working with computers, no matter where life took her.

Her official career began in 1999 when she was offered a position with Tennessee Valley Authority as the field technician for the Southern District of Mississippi. She finished up her degree in Business Information Systems at Mississippi State University while servicing TVA clients throughout southern Mississippi. After graduating in 2001, she was able to transfer back to her hometown, Florence, AL, and continued working for TVA until her contract ended in 2002. From there she took a job with a private university in Nashville, Tennessee, until she was able to find her current job with at&t Mobility (formerly Cingular Wireless, formerly SunCom Wireless). She has been an employee of the new at&t since March of 2003 and proudly serves all retail stores in Eastern and Southern Virginia.

Ashley’s dedication and willingness to help others plays a big role in her career and she believes being a field technician is her niche in life, but will probably someday settle in to a more narrow field of expertise.
