Ashok Tantry earned his M.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Mr. Tantry came to Emory having obtained a degree in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University in India. He has since made his career in sales and management.

In 1998, Ashok Tantry held the position of Sales Manager for the software consulting firm Intelligroup. His responsibilities focused on selling enterprise resource planning (ERP) consulting, and he worked with corporate and government clients including Sears Brand, LLC, and the State of New York. From Intelligroup, he moved to SeraNova, an e-business solutions company based in Edison, New Jersey. At SeraNova, he was charged with handling the company’s American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise Financial, Inc.) account as an Associate Director of Sales.

Ashok Tantry then joined Cognizant, where he worked as an Account Manager supervising the company’s Wachovia relationship. Eventually, he left Cognizant to join Patni Americas, Inc. (now iGATE Patni), as a Senior Manager for its southeast region. His work for Patni Americas concentrated on marketing software to insurance providers in the region. Mr. Tantry then served for several years as Senior Director and Business Development Leader for Computer Sciences Corporation, where he managed emerging opportunities for the company.
