Atif is a consultant and financier working with the World Bank. Born in Saudi Arabia, Atif began working on development issues early in life in his native Pakistan and founded Zindagi, a program to addres educational inequalities in India. He built on this work by starting Awakening Hope, a global NGO which takes an entrepreneurial approach to sustainable development
through grassroots investments. After graduating from Georgetown in 2003 and Oxford in 2006, Atif is now working with the World Bank in New York City.
