Augustus Shaw is an attorney practicing community and home-owner association law.

Augustus Shaw is Managing Partner and co-founder of the community association law firm of Shaw & Lines, LLC. He has been practicing law since 2000. An expert advocate for community associations and planned communities, Mr. Shaw also represents professional and residential condominium associations, developers, builders, and timeshare associations in Arizona. He received his higher education at the University of Arizona, receiving both his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and his Juris Doctor. Prior to opening his own firm, he worked as a real estate and corporate law associate with Gust Rosenfeld P.L.C. and Carpenter, Hazlewood, Delgado & Wood, PLC. In addition to his community involvement and law practice, Augustus Shaw contributed many articles to the Arizona Republic News and the East Valley Tribune in the area of real estate and community association law. He has served the community association industry as a member of the Central Arizona and National Chapters of the Community Associations Institute (CAI). He has also been a member of The Leadership Center for almost 10 years, currently sitting on the board. The Leadership Centre is an organization sponsored by cities and colleges, dedicated to providing educational opportunities. It awarded both Augustus Shaw and his partner with the title of Instructor of the Year. Shaw & Lines, LLC, sponsors an ongoing series of continuing education lectures and seminars titled, Community Association Law Lunch & Learn Lecture Series. Augustus Shaw was honored by The Leadership Center a second time in 2010, when his firm was awarded the Brian L. Zemp Community Leadership Award. He is licensed to practice before the United States Tax Court, the State Supreme Courts of Arizona and Nebraska, and the US District Courts of Arizona and Nebraska as well.
