Bartosz Solowiej is an not only an awesome UI Engineer, he is a self-taught developer, designer and ridiculously good idea-maker. Since graduating from Emory University, he has started his own web development consulting business and built some fantastic tools for the Washington Post. Currently, Bartosz is engineering the future of Video Chat communication at TokBox, Inc in San Francisco, California.

When he’s not creating new web apps, Bartosz is very interested in WiMax in developing countries. In 2006, he traveled to the western highlands of Guatemala to install 23 computers in a privately funded high school named Fundacion Ixtatan, and he plans to return there to expand the capabilities of the satellite linked facilities and eventually provide a web connection to the many residents in the municipality.

Bartosz dreams of a future in which people can get immediate information delivered to their mobile computing devices anywhere at any time.
