Benjamin Davol
Presently a Clinical Sales Consultant at Phadia US Inc., Benjamin Davol has extensive background, experience, and knowledge in sales advising and directing. Prior to embarking on his professional career, Benjamin Davol graduated from Suffield Academy, a coeducational independent secondary school with a tradition of academic excellence. Benjamin Davol continued his education by attending Drew University, from which he graduated in 1982. In 1991, Benjamin Davol began work as the Director of the Health Care Reform Task Force for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores. Responsible for lobbying efforts in 21 states for more than three years, Benjamin Davol played a tremendous part in this non-profit’s emphasis on pharmacy regulations, ERISA, tax reform, and generic/brand drug policy reform. Following his work with the Health Care Reform Task Force, Benjamin Davol was owner of Davol Communications, a consulting firm founded in 1995, for more than eight years. With a focus on public affairs and politics, Benjamin Davol’s company advised private companies and managed political campaigns on both the state and national levels. Among Benjamin Davol’s list of political management projects was the John McCain 2000 campaign. After working as Sales Director for Stinger Systems for two years in 2004-2006, Benjamin Davol served as Senior Sales Professional for sanofi-aventis U.S. LLC, an international pharmaceutical sales company. Calling on 400 clinicians in the areas of Internal Medicine, Primary Care, and OB/GYN, Benjamin Davol managed sales territory in all of northern Connecticut. Additionally, Benjamin Davol was responsible for giving sales presentations, budgeting funds, and utilizing company assets. It was in 2008 that Benjamin Davol began his work with one of the most cutting-edge medical device industries in the world, Phadia US Inc., a company that has provided innovative and specific IgE blood testing for the last 30 years.
