Ben Magarik grew up in Brooklyn, and is a proud graduate of New York public schools. He attended Wesleyan University, where he studied political theory, economics, and history in the College of Social Studies. He currently lives in Washington, D.C., where he works as project manager at Gelman Library for a digitization project at George Washington and Georgetown Universities. He was previously the Associate Director of Development at Digital Divide Data and a Fellow at the Samuel Bronfman Foundation.
