Bernard Gauci was recently employed on a part time basis at the University of Malta, where he taught a course in Money and Banking. He has an extensive background of expertise and experience in economics. Bernard Gauci’s scholastic career began at the University of Malta, where he graduated in 1970 with a B.A. Honors in Economics. Developing a keen sense in the subject, he then attended the University of New Hampshire, where he received his M.A. in economics in 1972, and then finally his Ph.D. in 1981. At UNH, Bernard also worked as a research assistant and served as a visiting part-time lecturer at the Thompson School of Applied Science. Gauci has also taught on a part time basis at Roanoke College and Lynchburg College. Dr. Gauci joined the Department of Economics at Hollins University in 1978, where he served as an assistant professor until 1984, associate professor through 2005 and then as Emeritus Professor of Business and Economics since 2005. Bernard Gauci has also provided economics consultancy services. |
