Blake Nelson is a recent college graduate of DePauw University and freelance writer living and working in Chicago. For Blake, writing was a passion long before it became a career choice, his love of words has exposed him to a number of industries and creative fields. Most recently, writing has taken him to the competitive, ever-evolving, world digital marketing, where he has served as a SEO specialist, copywriter, and social media guru with the Chicago-based, Ocean Agency. In addition to social media and SEO, Blake’s worked as a blogger on Jameson Reality’s web blog, which allowed him to dive headfirst into the Chicago real estate market and become an expert on the industry.

When Blake isn’t browsing SEO manuals or generating web-copy, he can be found in his apartment, working on more personal projects. Currently, he is assembling a collection of short stories and humorous musings that dwell on his North Texas upbringing.
