About Dr. Bobby Khan

Alpharetta, Georgia

With a degree in chemistry from Vanderbilt University, and an M.D and Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Dr. Bobby Khan set his sights on medicine early on. Graduating magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University and as a Phi Beta Kappa Society member, Dr. Bobby Khan remained highly successful throughout his academic career. He was elected to membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical honor society, while attending the University of Tennessee. Additionally, Dr. Khan was awarded the University of Tennessee Alumni Research Award. A former board member of the Alzheimer’s Association of Georgia, Dr. Bobby Khan stays involved with the American College of Cardiology, the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation, and the American Heart Association. In past years, he has served a number of roles in the medical community. In 2006, Dr. Khan accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer with the Atlanta Clinical Research Center, based out of Tucker, Georgia. Since that time, he has served as a Physician for Atlanta Cardiology and Primary Care and as Executive Director for the Atlanta Vascular Research Foundation. Awarded $2.5 million in grant research funds in 2010, he continues to take charge of clinical research trials with the organization. Dr. Bobby Khan remains focused on medical research, and he was published in Circulation, Journal of the American Heart Association, the Journal of Cardiac Failure, and the Journal of Human Hypertension.
