Brent Rippentrop - Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for RSC EquipmentTitonka, IowaWith 30 years of experience at Deere & Company, Brent Rippentrop served as Vice President of Marketing for John Deere Credit prior to his current position as Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis for the Arizona-based RSC Equipment Rental. In that senior position with Deer & Company, Brent Rippentrop managed a budget of $25 million, promoting equipment lending throughout the U.S. and Canada. Leading a staff of 100 employees, Brent Rippentrop consolidated marketing operations into a single “center of excellence.” Brent Rippentrop’s efforts in this capacity generated more than $200 million in annual incremental sales for the $25 billion-capitalized Deere & Company. Beginning his career in accounting and internal auditing, Brent Rippentrop had moved on to a financial analyst position within Deere & Company by the late 1980s. In successive positions as Sales Finance Analyst, Manager of Finance, and Director of Business Development, Brent Rippentrop navigated a complex trail of mergers and acquisitions, manufacturing joint ventures, investments, and divestures. In 1997, Brent Rippentrop took on the role of Director of Marketing for Sunstate Equipment Company. Minority-owned by Deere & Company, the construction equipment rental company was seen as ripe for a coordinated high-growth strategy. Brent Rippentrop increased revenue significantly during his six years with Sunstate, expanding the company’s equipment market from 3 to 8 states and establishing 36 “green start” equipment lending centers. A graduate of Iowa State University, Brent Rippentrop continued his education through the Global Leadership 2020 Program at Dartmouth University’s Tuck School of Business from 2006-2007.
