Currently attending New York University as an English major, Brett Sagan is completing a well-rounded education.

An accomplished student, active community volunteer, and amateur photographer, Brett Sagan possesses a diverse set of skills that will undoubtedly play an instrumental role in his future. Currently a student at New York University, Brett Sagan majors in English. Boasting an impressive record of academic achievement, Brett Sagan won the bronze medal for the National Spanish Exam two years in a row. Brett Sagan was also involved in his high school’s Model United Nations program, which granted him a unique opportunity to learn about diplomacy and world relations. Beyond his studies, Brett Sagan maintains involvement in a variety of community organizations. A volunteer with the Meals on Wheels Association of America, Brett Sagan helped provide meals to the elderly throughout his community. Brett Sagan also held a position with the Microcredit Club, an organization that provides assistance to small businesses in developing countries. Serving as the Microcredit Club’s Treasurer, Brett Sagan played an integral role in managing the organization’s funds. When not studying or volunteering, Brett Sagan enjoys a wide variety of hobbies, including photography. A former intern at the New York-based Amiaga Architectural Photography, Brett Sagan was able to learn about photography from a talented industry professional. Brett Sagan also enjoys spending time with his friends, visiting museums and going to the movies. An enthusiastic reader, Brett Sagan lists Kurt Vonnegut, Hermann Hesse, and Stieg Larsson among his favorite authors.
