As part of the United States Army Reserve in Bakersfield, California, First Lieutenant Brian C. McDaniel handles a wide range of leadership and management responsibilities. A member of the Military Police Regimental Association, McDaniel serves on the CIOR Defense Security Issues Committee of the Reserve Officers Association of the United States. He volunteered for the United States Army Family Readiness Group from 2001 to 2010 and United Service Organizations (USO), Inc. from 2009 to 2010.

In addition to his military service, Brian C. McDaniel has devoted his time to a number of charitable causes, including AIDS Walk Orange County. From 2003 to 2006, McDaniel volunteered with the Board of Directors for Info Link Orange County (now 2-1-1 Orange County). 2-1-1 refers Orange County, California, residents to organizations qualified to address health and human services issues such as transportation, workforce development, prevention, and safety.

Brian C. McDaniel boasts years of experience in the financial services and insurance industries. As a Financial Advisor at Waddell and Reed, Inc., an asset management company in Tacoma, Washington, McDaniel created financial plans that mapped out clients’ goals and objectives. He also marketed and sold insurance products while managing accounts as an Insurance Agent with Cornerstone America in Costa Mesa, California.

As Temporary Sales and Administration Consultant for CareerStaff, Inc., Brian C. McDaniel fielded phone calls, managed accounts, and keeps customers abreast of promotions. McDaniel also assisted the sales department in their duties, responded to customer concerns, and entered data.

Well versed in telephone customer service, Brian C. McDaniel worked at Alta Resources’ call center from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, McDaniel has served as a Warehouse Operator with Nissan North America, Inc., an Assistant Training Store Manager with Waldenbooks (now Borders), and a File Clerk with Kar Kare Company in Huntington Beach, California.

Brian C. McDaniel holds an Associate of Arts in Communication Studies from Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California, as well as an Associate of Arts in Management from Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa. McDaniel enjoys travel, music, sports, genealogy, and history, and maintains membership with Clan Donald USA, whose nearly 4,000 families trace their ancestry to any of the branches of Clann Domhnaill.
