Managing Partner of the Portland, Oregon-based Chenoweth Law Group, P.C., Brian D. Chenoweth has 17 years of experience representing clients in environmental litigation cases. A graduate of The American University Washington College of Law, Brian D. Chenoweth earned his JD in 1994. The following year, he accepted an Attorney position with the Detlefsen Law Office PC in Portland, Oregon, where he remained until 1997, at which time he became a Partner at Rycewicz & Chenoweth, LLP, where he remained until 2006.

Licensed to practice in Oregon and the State of Washington, Brian D. Chenoweth can also appear before the United States District Courts for the District of Oregon and the Western District of Washington, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He also serves on the Northwest Environmental Business Council and is a member of the Program Committee of The Owen M. Panner American Inn of Court, where he served as a Barrister for three years. A member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, he is also a member of the Oregon State Bar Environmental and Natural Resources Section and the Washington State Bar Environmental and Land Use Section.

Experienced negotiator Brian D. Chenoweth has settled complex cases for his clients with a number of state and federal agencies. Although 95 percent of his business focuses on litigation, he also accepts non-litigation clients. Brian D. Chenoweth has represented clients on matters regarding land use law, construction law, and real estate sales and disputes. He has also advised on matters of environmental liability and regulatory compliance relative to business and real estate sales or purchases. Additionally, he plays an active role in redeveloping brownfields and working on agency enforcement cases. The Chenoweth Law Group, P.C., represents both defendants and plaintiffs in a wide array of environmental law matters.
