Brian Krasnoff’s professional and personal interests reveal a deep connection to a wide spectrum of his community. Since 2003, he has served as a broker for Brian Realty, his company based in Sherman Oaks, California. A licensed real estate broker for over 25 years, Brian Krasnoff helps clients purchase and close deals on residential and investment properties as a buyer’s agent and listing agent. Brian Krasnoff also operates his own photography business, Brian’s Photography. Since 1983, his professional photography work has included weddings and releases by music groups, including Los Angeles jazz group Bill Cunliffe Sextet’s 2003 release “How My Heart Sings.” Brian Krasnoff has worked for the past 30 years helping farm owners buy and sell land, in addition to offering advice on crops. In addition to pursuing his varied professional interests, Brian Krasnoff spends his leisure time engaging with the community. He is an active member of the United States Power Squadrons (USPS), a boating organization. An experienced boater, Brian Krasnoff teaches classes as a volunteer and shares his experience with subjects such as seamanship, piloting and position finding, engine maintenance, and marine electronics. Some of Brian Krasnoff’s favorite activities as a member of the USPS include cruises, rendezvous, sailing races, and fishing derbies. As a service to his community, Brian Krasnoff teaches safety classes to new initiates to the world of boating and sailing. In addition to educating the public, USPS works with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary to carry out vessel safety checks for boat owners. A passionate sportsman, Brian Krasnoff also takes pride in his membership at North Ranch Country Club, where he enjoys golfing.

The United States Power Squadron. I volunteer and teach courses. Every squadron offers many carefully planned courses in subjects like Seamanship, Piloting, Plotting and Position Finding, Celestial Navigation, Cruise Planning, Engine Maintenance, Marine Electronics, Sailing, and much more. These courses are taught by experienced member instructors, and members who complete them are recognized. Participating both on-the-water and off with fellow members who are skilled in boating is a rewarding and enjoyable experience. On-the-water activities include cruises, rendezvous, sail races, navigation contests and even fishing derbies. Activities ashore include meetings with marine programs, parties, dinner-dances, picnics and field trips Local squadrons offer boating safety courses on a regular basis to boaters in our communities. These courses are open to the public and there is no age limit for participants. USPS squadrons have offered these courses for over half a century and have educated more than 3 million boaters to date. Successfully completing a USPS boating safety course meets the educational requirements for boat operation in all states. In a cooperative program with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, squadron members conduct courtesy Vessel Safety Checks of boats at the request of their owners.
