Brian Sims on the Columbia Tower Club, Brian Sims
February, 2011
As the head of one of the fastest growing companies in Washington State, I believe strongly in the value of professional development. In my capacity as Chief Executive Officer of United Reprographics, based in Seattle, Washington, I develop and implement strategies to meet our company’s goals and objectives. Since 1999, my leadership has allowed United Reprographics to become the largest minority-owned printing company in the state. In order to grow the company and provide the best service possible, I participate actively in professional associations such as Tabor 100 as well as business networking opportunities at the Columbia Tower Club.
From my experience as chief executive of United Reprographics, building strong business relationships can be crucial to the continued growth and success of a company. As a member of the Columbia Tower Club, I have the opportunity to develop valuable business contacts in the heart of the city. Located high above downtown Seattle, the Club offers extensive resources to facilitate professional development; in addition to frequently hosting events for professional and personal enrichment, the Club provides an environment suitable for both working and entertaining. With a comprehensive range of business services that include a variety of workspaces, logistical tools, videoconferencing, and meeting services, the Club enables members to work away from the office and in the company of some of the leading business professionals in the community. Moreover, as part of the Clubcorp network, the Columbia Tower Club allows members to entertain for business at a number of convenient venues throughout the Seattle metropolitan area.
To further the success of United Reprographics, I continually look for ways to drive the company’s growth and better achieve our strategy, mission, and philosophy. The Columbia Tower Club offers a supportive environment and valuable resources for me as I work toward this goal.
