Florence, South Dakota native Brittany Kuecker recently graduated from high school, earning a B grade point average while working full time. Upon completing her studies, Brittany Kuecker earned admission into South Dakota State University (SDSU), where she will soon obtain a Bachelor’s degree.

While attending high school, Brittany Kuecker became involved in numerous extracurricular activities. Brittany Kuecker participated competitively in the Oral Interpretation program, a ten minute spoken presentation fitting one of seven categories: Non-Original Oratory, Interpretation of Serious Plays, Interpretation of Serious Prose, Poetry Reading, Humorous Reading, Duet Interpretation, or Reader’s Theatre. Brittany Kuecker traveled to various schools throughout the state for competitions and regularly received high recognition. In addition to the Oral Interpretation program, Brittany Kuecker also earned a spot on the local gymnastics team, where she continued to train throughout all four years.

Outside of her academic endeavors, Brittany Kuecker also serves as a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. Founded in 1914, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary promotes giving aid to soldiers who defended the United States. Volunteers work in hospitals associated with the community, the state, and Veterans Affairs. Brittany Kuecker enjoys setting an example to those around her through community service.

After being baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Church, Brittany Kuecker has remained a member of the Florence/New Helgen Lutheran Church in South Dakota.
