Since 2011, Bruce C. Bennett, MD, has maintained a private practice in Casper, Wyoming. He works with patients aged 14 and up, providing evaluations and pharmacologic treatment for a variety of mental disorders. Dr. Bennett develops personalized treatment plans with the aim of helping patients improve their ability to function on a daily basis while reducing or eliminating the need for hospitalization. To provide the greatest possible access to psychiatric care, Dr. Bruce C. Bennett accepts patients with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance, as well as self-pay patients.

Before establishing Bruce C. Bennett, MD, LLC, Dr. Bennett held positions at Lourdes Counseling Center and Sunderland Family Treatment Services. At Lourdes, one of his key accomplishments was reforming the supervision process for patients suffering from chemical dependencies in order to guarantee compliance with Medicare and Medicaid requirements. Additionally, he served on the Lourdes Counseling Center Patient Care Committee and the Lourdes Health Network Ethics Committee.

Dr. Bruce C. Bennett holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Fine Arts from Utah State University and a Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his internship and residency in psychiatry with the University of Utah and Affiliated Hospitals in 2001. Dr. Bennett’s senior project during his residency was a grand rounds presentation titled “A Psychiatric Post-mortem on Thomas E. ‘Scrappy-Doo’ Baal, Executed by the State of Nevada.”

In his free time, Dr. Bennett enjoys writing and photography. He has had work published in newspapers in Nevada, Idaho, Washington, Utah, California, and Alaska. He has used his photographic talents to create promotional materials for JeffHOPE in Philadelphia, as well as a documentary for the Peoria Animal Welfare Shelter.
