Bruce Newby held various jobs at the Knott’s Berry Farm theme park and in the park’s horseback riding stables. Apart from work, Bruce Newby spent time with a group of young men who maintained an avid interest in classic cars. The group spent every night cruising and racing, but one night changed Bruce Newby’s perception of the dangers of racing forever. On an evening, when Bruce Newby was unable to join in on the regular activities, his friends got into a serious accident that resulted in the loss of several limbs. With experience playing an instrumental role in his professional development and personal growth, Bruce Newby has become the tenacious, intelligent, and successful individual he is known as today.
