Brynn McKinstry is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in communications at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Fashion marketing in particular piques McKinstry’s interest, and she has garnered firsthand industry experience as a Sales Associate with Francesca’s Collections. While in high school, she won the Cold Read contest and took second in the Best Two-Person Scene at the Model and Talent Expo, a nationwide competition in Dallas, Texas. McKinstry is active in greek life, belonging to Pi Beta Phi, which undertakes a variety of philanthropic efforts on campus and in the community. Additionally, Brynn McKinstry volunteers with Nourish International, a coalition of students endeavoring to end global poverty. Brynn McKinstry challenged herself as a student at Fort Myers High School by undertaking the intensive International Baccalaureate curriculum. Maintaining an exemplary 5.18 GPA, McKinstry graduated summa cum laude. Her stellar academic achievements earned her membership with the National Society of High School Scholars, Rho Kappa, and the National Honor Society. In addition to the demanding coursework of the International Baccalaureate program, McKinstry also held membership with the Renaissance club, Interact Club, and the High School Law Academy. As a member of the mock trial team at Fort Myers High School, Brynn McKinney gained recognition as the Best Defense Witness in the district while the team finished third place in the state. Apart from her studies, Brynn McKinstry practices photography and has put together two books on various techniques in her photography, including silver gelatin, black-and-white, and digital editing. She also plays guitar and enjoys the literature of Harper Lee, Khaled Hosseini, and Albert Camus.
