Cara is a senior at Vanderbilt with an extremely busy schedule! This double major in Spanish and Medicine, Health and Society Senior hails from Leominster, MA where she graduated from Leominster High School in 2004. Cara currently serves as the president of the Vanderbilt Student Government, marshall of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, Student Facilitator of Vanderbilt Visions Group, Site Leader for Vanderbilt’s Alternative Spring Break, and is also a member of Vanderbilt’s Chancellor Search Advisory Committee, a Young Alumni Trustee Nominating Committee member, and a volunteer for Manna Project International. Cara helped implement community health education and outreach services for rural and urban areas this summer in the Dominican Republic through Pontifica Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra. She has future plans for medical or law school with a focus on health policy upon her graduation from Vandy in May of 2008.
