Based in the Southwest, Caren Solberg functions as a Field Sales Associate with W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. For the past five years, Solberg has sold medical devices to interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional radiologists, and vascular surgeons. From 2008 until 2010, Caren Solberg placed in the top 25 in national sales, and, in 2007, she fulfilled the company’s second highest all-time stocking order.

By the time she joined W. L. Gore & Associates, Solberg had already spent 15 years in the medical sales industry. Beginning her career as an Account Representative in Client Services for Walsh America/PMSI, Caren Solberg later accepted the positions of Client Support Analyst with PCS Health Systems, Inc. and Provider Relations Consultant with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona.

Subsequently, as Territory Manager and Senior Territory Manager for Allergan, Inc., Caren Solberg obtained numerous accolades as she found buyers for ophthalmology pharmaceuticals in highly saturated Arizona and Nevada markets. Along with acquiring the largest account in the area, Solberg thrice traveled to Hawaii as a National Sales Trip Winner. Due to her achievements, Allergan chose Solberg as a Field Sales Trainer, responsible for teaching new employees Allergan sales techniques.

Following her tenure with this company, Caren Solberg served as Territory Manager with C. R. Bard, Inc. Here, she contracted with hospitals, gastroenterologists, and pulmonologists for bronchoscopy and gastroenterology devices. Six months after her hiring, Solberg’s territory moved from 41st to 21st place. Over the next several years, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and BioSphere Medical would also benefit from her expertise.

Prior to entering the business world, Caren Solberg studied Marketing at Northern Arizona University (NAU). While earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Solberg was inducted into Alpha Omicron Pi, volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coconino County, and served as a member of NAU’s Panhellenic Board.
