Caroline Brooker is the Founder, Director, and President of Avante Language Services, a foreign language services provider located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Businesswoman and language instructor Caroline Brooker has built one of Philadelphia’s most successful foreign language service organizations.

Over the last 13 years, Avante Language, founded by Caroline Brooker in 1997, has expanded from a modest language school into a staff of certified translators and interpreters handling Farsi, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, and American Sign Language, among other languages. Caroline Brooker’s dedicated staff also provides off-site services and has worked with government agencies, hospitals, school districts, and major corporations.

Caroline Brooker attended Temple University, where she earned a BA in Spanish, graduating magna cum laude, and a Certificate in Multilingual Business and Government Studies. During her time at Temple University, Caroline Brooker participated in a one-year exchange program with the University of Puerto Rico and spent a summer overseas in Spain. Caroline Brooker is also the bearer of an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and an MA in Foreign Languages and Literatures from Washington State University.

In her free time, Caroline Brooker enjoys travel and further enhancing her global perspective. Caroline Brooker is an avid reader, citing Charles Bukowski, Milan Kundera, and Walt Whitman among her favorite authors. Also emphasizing the importance of helping others, Caroline Brooker contributes to philanthropic causes, including Child Abuse Prevention Effort (CAPE) and Life2Orphans.org, which supports orphanages in the Ukraine.
