Accomplished journalist Casey Clampett De Lima has worked in both print and television media, covering a range of topics from politics and technology to lifestyle and entertainment news. Most recently, Casey Clampett De Lima served as a News Writer Assistant, producing news segments for broadcast company Univision Communications, which airs in San Diego, California. Casey Clampett De Lima utilized her writing talent and fluency in Spanish to translate and produce stories in English and Spanish. In addition to writing, Casey Clampett De Lima researched and recorded news footage for corresponding stories, working alongside Univision Communications head evening anchor Claudia Rodriguez. Casey Clampett De Lima’s dedication to journalism has brought her international success. Prior to joining Univision Communications, Casey Clampett De Lima traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to work as a guest writer for Haciendo Cine Magazine. For a semester, Casey Clampett De Lima conducted extensive interviews in Spanish, publishing numerous articles for the entertainment magazine. Casey Clampett De Lima applied her bilingual expertise to translate a cinematic production guide from Spanish to English for Haciendo Cine Magazine that was mass produced in the United Kingdom upon completion. With journalistic experience extending as far back as high school, when she served as Editor in Chief of her school newspaper, Casey Clampett De Lima has proven herself a skilled reporter. After she entered the University of California, Los Angeles, Casey Clampett De Lima began balancing her studies as a political science student with a position as a Television Broadcasting Assistant for Wealth TV’s Boomer Show. In addition to her roles with the Boomer Show and Univision Communications, Casey Clampett De Lima garnered television broadcasting experience as an assistant with FOX’s lifestyle show San Diego Living. For her work in journalism, Casey Clampett De Lima has received two North County Times Journalism awards. When she is not reporting on important community stories, Casey Clampett De Lima is participating in them. For more than a year, Casey Clampett De Lima served as a mentor with the Marina Del Rey Middle School, an affiliate of the University of California, Los Angeles tutoring program Bruin Partners. Casey Clampett De Lima provided academic help and emotional support to at-risk urban students and used her knowledge of Spanish to communicate with parents. Casey Clampett De Lima earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations with academic honors from the University of California, Los Angeles.
