Catherine is a Virginia girl who made her way out to Southern California after graduating from the University of Virginia back in 2000. She works in the Business Operations at Shopzilla.com, which suits her since she is a business school grad who loves to shop online. Before moving to the Business Analysis team, Catherine focused on market research in the BizRate Research division of Shopzilla. Her previous professional experience is also focused on the Internet and market research worlds. She started off her career working for a now defunct start-up website and then moved to a private equity firm (Platinum Equity, LLC), where she was a technology industry expert providing competitive intelligence and identifying acquisition targets.

Catherine earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Virginia in 2000. While at UVa, she was president of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and a member of the McIntire Marketing Association. She earned her MBA from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University in 2005.
