Steven Metz operates as the co-owner and President of Central Jersey Pools, Patio, & More, a full-service pool and spa retail and repair company based in Freehold, New Jersey. Originally founded in the 1950s by David Metz, a former farmer and Steven Metz’s grandfather, Central Jersey Pools, Patio, & More is now one of the leading pool retailers in New Jersey, serving Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties. Along with his brother, Michael, also a co-owner, Steven Metz comprises the third generation of family members to run Central Jersey Pools, Patio, & More; he took over the business from his father, Martin Metz, the company’s former President. In his role as President, Steven Metz oversees a wide variety of business operations, including a 25,000-square-foot showroom, an 8,000-square-foot chemical room, and a large fleet of repair technicians and vans. Responsible for the largest pool and spa parts department in Central New Jersey, Steven Metz constantly seeks products that will please his customers, attending national and regional trade shows in search of great new additions. Over the years, Steven Metz has expanded Central Jersey Pools, Patio, & More’s selection to include in-ground and above-ground pools, indoor and outdoor casual furniture, pool tables, poker tables, bars, video games, game-room supplies, spas, and saunas. Recent introductions to the company’s product line include outdoor plasma TVs and surround sound systems, cooking islands and outdoor kitchens, and wireless remote controls for backyard electronics.
