As an undergraduate student, Chand Masood Sayed attended the University of Bombay, now known as the University of Mumbai. At India’s premier academic institution, Chand Masood Sayed studied history and graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts. Now living in Miami, Florida, she is happily married with children and a puppy that is considered part of the family. When she is not spending time with her family, Chand Masood Sayed enjoys preparing both Indian and Western-style cuisine.

To stay healthy and maintain a connection with India, Chand Masood Sayed regularly practices yoga. An avid reader, Chand Masood Sayed is fascinated by a broad range of literature, especially the classic mystery writing of Agatha Christie in novels like And Then There Were None and Murder on the Orient Express. She also enjoys the works of Dan Brown and Jeffrey Archer as well as Perry Mason, the iconic fictional defense lawyer conceived by Erle Stanley Gardner. During her spare time, Chand Masood Sayed goes shopping.
